Welcome to the Hailsham and Eastbourne Canoe Club website. We are a small, friendly paddle sport (kayak) club based in Hailsham, East Sussex, UK; run by a selection of local paddle sport enthusiasts.

We usually meet most Friday evenings (21:00 – 22:00) at Freedom Leisure, Vicarage Fields, Hailsham (directions here), where we have a one hour Pool Session designed to introduce all ages and abilities to Paddlesport (Kayaking) skills and equipment.

All equipment is provided, and for children the first session is free of charge. Subsequent sessions for children cost £3, and adults cost £5. We have no formal membership system: feel free to attend whenever you wish. We look forward to seeing you at the club!

Once your skill level is appropriate, we offer outdoor trips ranging from Paddle and Surf trips at the Seven Sisters Country Park to White Water Outings on the river Wye at Symonds Yat in Wales.
